• To be able to write edit notes in accordance with the TV Edit standards that have been provided; to review them with colleagues and make sure that the contractual criteria are met.
• To precisely draft edit notes in accordance with Culturally Sensitive Guidelines; confer with colleagues on these to guarantee that contractual obligations are met.
• to write clearly when composing edit notes.
• Edit the completion of the decision list.
• Using Adobe Premiere, perform basic compliance editing according to the screening notes.
• QC versioned Masters and to make sure that all legal, artistic, and aesthetic standards have been satisfied.
• As needed, offer editor suggestions and comments.
• Prepare technical departments' digital content.
• liaison and support for programming and schedulers.
• creating and keeping up-to-date precise, thorough records of all communications, materials, and information as needed.
• overseeing and managing deadlines.
• digital material being uploaded or downloaded from a range of sources.
• updating the metadata as needed.
• answering general questions about digital assets for internal staff members upon request.
• completing ad hoc tasks as directed by Compliance Edit Supervisor members.

Technical Qualifications:

• precision in content screening and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Proficiency in NLE editing with Premiere; a working knowledge of broadcast or airline industry rules for producing edit notes would be helpful.
• It is preferable to have knowledge of broadcast codecs, frame rates, aspect ratio conversion and preservation, and standards conversion for digital video.
• It helps to have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programmes like Word and Excel in addition to fundamental PC-based knowledge and expertise.
• One of the most critical qualities for someone in this profession is the ability to consistently produce high-quality work under pressure.
• Additional language proficiency would be beneficial.
